Sølvi is a desktop app for people who run a household across currencies and borders — USD and INR side by side, US brokerage next to Indian fixed deposits, property in two countries. Every transaction, balance, and account number stays in a SQLite file on your own disk.

Yours if you stop paying
An expired licence drops the app to read-only. It never locks your data. The database is a file you own.
What actually leaves your device
Only merchant names, and only for categorisation — WHOLEFDS #432,
with no amount, no date, no account field. Balances and transactions never
leave as data. Merchant text is sent exactly as your bank printed it, which
can embed digits of the bank's own descriptor. The account-holder name on a
statement may appear in a masked import-detection sample. Prefer to send
nothing at all? Local mode does exactly that.
